We were blessed with the visit from the American Youth With a Mission (YWAM) who were in Samoa for training. The group of about 20 young Christians were full of energy and shared that energy and passion with Teen Challenge programme attendees.
Youth With a Mission or YWAM is an international volunteer movement of Christians from many backgrounds, cultures and Christian traditions, dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world. Also known as YWAM (pronounced “WHY-wham”), their purpose is simply to know God and to make Him known. YWAM has a training and discipleship school in Samoa with a Christ-centered focus, students and staff are challenged and encouraged to grow into the person that God has created them to be. People come as world changers in the making!
With Tui Afamasaga translating their words and journeys into Samoan we all were able to learn the transformations they went on and how their lives were saved through the love of our lord.
YWAM’s poignant skits and songs moved members of the audience as we witnessed their faith and dedication to the lord. You can see some of the videos of their performance below.
We thank YWAM for sharing their wonderful talents and praise with us and our clients.
